Q: How long will it take for my web site to be completed?

A:  It depends on the complexity of the job and what you want the website to do. We will enter into a contract which will establish the time frame for things to be done and milestones for progress. After the basic order has been completed and you have left feedback, you may want to consider further development on the site.

Q: How can I view the status of my order?

A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: I ordered a website. What are the shipping costs

A: I make all of my web sites as a work at home job. These is no shipping required for any of our purchases. Your web site will be viewable online and viewable without any need to mail any items. 

Q: What are your shipping costs?

A: $4 shipping for the first each book. My Web Site Clients each get a backup CD for $4 mandatory for all of my clients, based on over eight years of experience my backup CD of all the files of the web site.

Book Policy:

Our books require 5 days handling time to arrive from the ware house, and 2-3 days to ship first class USPS mail. The 5 days handling time is because my old man and myself have our own book publishing ware house. First class/ priority mail USPS. $4 shipping for the first book, each additional book is only $2

2.     Web Site Policy:

Our web sites are completed by the best trained web site designers we have today. Peter Sloan in his four years of a Bachelors Degree in fine arts graphic design and new media has in his list of fellow alumni graphic designers many well qualified professionals that are available as freelance when needed. Not only that Peter Sloan has PHD post graduate credits completed in Computer Science from an MIT satellite school located in New York, New York, as well also being certified. Between the fellow computer science students at New Horizons CLC Certificate of Completion 2009, NYC Department of Education Dell Certified 2008, Board of Education Chess Club Teacher 2003-2005, Graphic Design Alumni from S.U.N.Y. Purchase Bachelors Degree Class of 2003, Chess Club National Master Title 2001. We basically never miss a deadline. Designed from templates as well as completely original custom graphics. Besides all that our web site team also has some photographers among our group of Alumni that have many years of professional experience. Web Site Design Payment Policy is simple enough to follow. Web sites are primarily paid for by PayPal through EBay sales or otherwise you can mail a check ounce a week we make a billing invoice for additional hours of work rendered at our site locations. Check through the mail always arrives as I have the best mail man Ken whom never looses a piece of mail.

Web Site Design Automatic Billing we have several services available for regular web site updates with reoccurring billing and fee’s. Our most common order is monthly pre-paid web site updates. Paying each month for our web site designer’s fee automatically billed to your card each month. The other services we have is web site administration billed monthly for our team to be available to check on problems when they occur. Another services we have is we annual web hosting fee but this is paid for annually. I do not recommend monthly payments to keep your web site online.

3.     IT Services Policy:

For the NYC Area accessible by public transportation MTA subway and bus.

Because many of our services our rendered at our clients home. We follow a few simple guidelines.

·We gladly accept checks or cash at the site using the honor system. I pre-qualify candidates to be able to write checks on one simple basis, if you live in Manhattan checks are always accepted, and the same is true for most parts of the outer boroughs, but If your are ordering any service that requires buying computer parts before going over to your site location, please pay by PayPal in advance.

·Work is during business hours so kids are out of the house and at school. Please abide by that guideline and only schedule computer services and keep appointments during the daytime hours and besides the fact that you are responsible for your own kids in the first place being hanging around places

Refund Policy:
Web Site Design: Paid for in a Flat Fee Upfront. Costs of Web Hosting, Domain Name and Search Engine Listing fee’s are paid out of that fee as well, for my web sites $575 and upwards, only $474 of that money is left behind for costs of the web site design services. The following fee’s are for the cost of my work at home, freelance services, $15 per hour HTML, $15 per hour PDF $25 per hour Graphic Design which includes logo’s and buttons, $40 per hour programming which is basically any time I start to need to over lap JavaScript forms, with CCS Style Sheets, add in to client documents Macros for demonstration purposes, write VB Scripts, configured long sequences of threads to have java enabled payment processing websites based in web application services. $22.50 per phone call minimum one hour service for each call deducted from the lump sum flat fee. Service calls to accept incoming inquiries for computer support technician, web design application expert B.A., and office specialist with eight years of experience working with computer clients over the phone cost $22.50 per call. Each week I email my client an updated invoice of hours spent on work for the web site. Once the hours of work are rendered, It is not possible to offer refunds for hours of work already used up. If you suddenly have a medical emergency, basically web sites can even get to complicated, or you may have to speak with your business partner, or like my artist friend Simavi/ who I made a PowerPoint Web Site Presentation for his Album - To The Ends of the  Earth, with his big city manager for his approval, so I understand, just please what ever comes up please don’t forget to leave good feedback, I know contracts with freelances can be hard and there is very much discussing over the phone.

And you will like the results. Out of all of the services I listed above the only fee I have difficulty collecting on is having my clients agree to the $22.50/hr for telephone communication, but that is non-negotiable. After completing my Bachelors in Graphic Design, I have 420 course hours completed in Post Graduate Computer Science. The $22.50/hr for the phone calls deducted from the flat fee is non-refundable.

Just think of it this way when you have a nice web site up and running and you left good feedback, what the dentist would charge you for the same one hour of service, and leave you an unhappy customer. My services leave you with a Web Site, Brochure, PowerPoint Presentation or Even some graphic design cartoons printed on coffee mugs and you have something nice to show including copy of the work on a back up CD. And that refund policy is for a contracting Web Site Design, Graphic Design or Presentation Piece, so my ad’s may have asked for feedback early on, but when ever you feel that you have received the services up to the requirement of the job you had in mind leave good feedback.

Refund Policy for Books: At this time I do not offer refunds for books, but I have the best mail man. I have even passed AMT Federal employee Assistant Manager of Technology exam, so basically my books always arrive. Wd don’t offer Refunds and they are never needed.

Refund Policy for Chess & Computer Lessons: Once the billing is paid up front for the next four weeks I cannot offer partial refunds. You may be amazed, but after paying some extra expenses and fees for chess club this or that, especially for Coffee House Chess in Manhattan I very often will not have the money left over from the class to refund. Also my printed chess materials are welcomed by many students, and one printed manual is included with each student, However my family business book publishing house has the copyright to over 120 books now and If you cancel three weeks in with one week to go with a credit of $40 I can mail you a Bobby Fischer book with shipping included, paid out of my own pocket but there really is not money left to refund. I guess I got lucky like that, getting the rights to Bobby Fischer’s chess book’s left in his last will and testament to the Sloan Family.
